Character Redesign - Bahir

I got an idea stuck in my head and Bahir is the proof <D

Rather than being a simple lifeguard/dive instructor who left his home Bahir is now someone who was taken from his home by Imperial poachers to be trained as a pet for the Tallest. He was kept in a tiny tank and only fed when he obeyed...which he didn't most of the time because he didn't understand their language. Eventually he was rescued and taken back to their base to be rehabilitated and placed in a forever home. 

Assorted tidbits that have no real place: 

-Bahir's real name is Jericho, but was given the name Bahir by the poachers
-Bahir's eyes are essentially two kaleidoscopes; he can see color and jumbles of shapes but not enough to know what he's looking at
-He uses echolocation to get around and morse code to communicate when he needs to speak
-His skin shimmers slightly in the light (no he isn't a vampire)
-Can shapeshift his legs into a tail for swimming
-Really happy-go-lucky and up-beat
-Can't handle large crowds, large open spaces, or constantly changing enviroments
-Fins around his hips, shoulders, and ankles are thin and sensitive
-Colouring and patterns are uncommin for his species
